This Guy.

You'll learn plenty about this lovely lady on the right, she is my partner in crime, accomplice and shoulder to cry on. Imani, guest blogger, best-friend, homo-erotic cuddle buddy and my support system.

Why?

Over the years, I have changed as a person internally and externally. The way I view my surroundings and the individuals in it has assisted me in creating my identity. Do I think that the person I am right now is the person I will be when I am 28, 38 or 48? ...Absolutely not. I believe the person is an ever evolving being, we live and learn from our successes and mistakes. If you take the time to review what you've done and why you have done it you will be far more successful than the individual who acts purely on impulse.

This brings me to a Sunday afternoon, sitting in my bed on a cloudy day, I began to think...how will I leave my mark, can I document all that I've done, will I be able to express myself and will anyone ever understand my reality, and the realities of my comrades? I can, I want to share the life I lead, and the wonderful (and not so wonderful) people and things in it. Being a black female living in the suburbs of New York City, I am different, I am unique and people that are not closely linked to my circle will be surprised by my interests and lifestyle. Lifestyle, that is exactly it, the things I love, the things I hate, the clothes I wear, the food I eat and the events WE go to. That is what I would like to share with you, and you, and you, and you...
